The Bereavement Ministry’s goal is not to allow a member of the faith community grieve alone. The bereavement ministry team visits with the families for immediate care, Liturgy preparation, short and long term contact with the family. Members of this ministry need to be sensitive, caring, and compassionate to the needs of the bereaved.
Diocesan training is necessary and consists of 4 sessions scheduled throughout the year.
